Custom outdoor kitchens, built to be used

A real outdoor kitchen isn't just a grill on a slab. We design and build weather-ready outdoor kitchens with countertops, appliances, bar seating, and storage - planned around how you actually cook and host. Simple built-in grill station or full pizza-oven-and-kegerator setup, we've built both.

The Cliff's Difference

Designed around how you actually cook

Some families want a simple grill area for Saturday dinners. Others want the full setup - pizza oven, kegerator, big prep counter, bar seating for eight. Both work. We design the layout around how you'll really use it, not around a stock catalog.

Outdoor Kitchen Features May Include

  • Built-in grills
  • Refrigerators and beverage coolers
  • Outdoor sinks
  • Storage cabinets and drawers
  • Stone or tile countertops
  • Bar seating
  • Pizza ovens and specialty appliances
  • Prep space and serving counters
  • Lighting and electrical planning
  • Covered roof or pergola integration

Materials that survive Florida

Heat, humidity, salt, and afternoon downpours will find any weak material. We use surfaces and cabinetry rated for the environment so the kitchen looks the same in year five as it did on install day.

Fits the rest of the yard

The kitchen works best when it's planned with the pool, pavers, pergola, and turf all together. We can coordinate the whole thing so nothing looks tacked on.

Outdoor Kitchens FAQs

Outdoor Kitchens - your questions answered

What does a full outdoor kitchen include?
Most of ours have a built-in grill, side burner or pizza oven, refrigerator or beverage cooler, sink with hot/cold, stone or quartz counter, bar seating, storage cabinets, and task lighting. We can also add a smoker, ice maker, TV rough-in, and rated speaker mounts. Every kitchen is designed around how you actually cook and host - one couple's setup is different from another's.
How much does an outdoor kitchen cost?
A functional starter island with grill + counter + storage is around $8,000-$14,000. A mid-range kitchen with fridge, sink, gas hookup, and bar seating runs $18,000-$32,000. Full-featured designs with pizza oven, quartz counters, and covered seating can go $45,000+. Materials matter - stone veneer vs. stucco vs. tile is a meaningful cost driver.
Do I need a gas line and dedicated electrical?
Usually yes on both. Natural gas gives you unlimited runtime (no propane tank swaps) but requires a plumber to run a hard line from the meter. GFCI outlets for lights, fridge, and outlets need dedicated circuits. We coordinate all of it - permits, plumbing, and electrical are part of the scope.
Can outdoor kitchens handle South Florida weather?
Yes - everything we build uses stainless steel appliances rated for outdoor use, weatherproof electrical, powder-coated frames, and sealed stone or quartz counters. Covered roofs extend lifespan significantly. We also offer winter/storm covers for the grill and appliances.
How long does an outdoor kitchen build take?
Freestanding stucco or block island: 2-3 weeks after permit. Full kitchen with covered roof, plumbing, and gas: 4-6 weeks. If we're doing it during a pool remodel or new construction, we typically schedule the kitchen build so it wraps around the same time.
Can I design the layout myself?
Bring sketches, magazine photos, or Pinterest boards and we'll refine them together. We'll flag anything that won't work - gas-line access, prevailing wind for grill smoke, sightlines from the pool, HOA setbacks - and offer alternatives. Design is included in every quote.
What areas of South Florida do you serve?
We serve all of Broward and Palm Beach Counties - from Fort Lauderdale, Weston, Coral Springs, and Parkland up through Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Wellington, Jupiter, and everywhere in between. See our full service-area list on the Areas We Serve page.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. We work with a handful of pool-friendly lenders and have monthly payment options for new construction, remodels, and outdoor rooms. Details and a quick pre-qualification form are on the Financing page.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes - Certified Pool Contractor CPC1460184 and Certified Building Contractor CBC1265425. General liability, workers' comp, and bonding are all in force. We can email current certificates before we start any project.
