How long does it take to build a new pool in South Florida?
From signed contract to first swim, most residential builds run 12-16 weeks. That includes engineering, permitting through your municipality (Broward and Palm Beach both average 3-5 weeks), excavation, steel/plumbing/electrical, shell shoot, tile + coping, deck, and interior finish. Weather and inspection schedules move the timeline more than construction does.
How much does a new pool cost?
A functional entry-level rectangular pool with a paver deck starts around $65,000-$85,000 fully finished. A larger custom pool with attached spa, sun shelf, water features, salt or heater, and premium finishes typically runs $110,000-$180,000+. We give a real written estimate after the on-site visit - no online sliders, no lowball pricing that grows later.
What's included in your new pool builds?
Engineering + permits, all excavation and disposal, steel + gunite shell, plumbing and electrical, waterline tile + coping, interior finish (Diamond Brite, StoneScapes, or Pebble), variable-speed pump, cartridge filter, LED light, deck extension, salt or chlorine sanitation, and start-up chemicals. Optional additions like spas, heaters, automation, water features, and screen enclosures are quoted line by line so you see exactly what everything costs.
Do I need a permit for a new pool?
Yes, always. Every municipality in Broward and Palm Beach requires a residential pool permit before any excavation. We handle the entire permit package on your behalf - engineered plans, survey, HOA submittal if needed, and inspection scheduling. You just sign where indicated.
Do you build salt-water pools?
Yes. Roughly 70% of the pools we build in South Florida are salt systems now. They're gentler on skin, easier on eyes, cost less to sanitize month-to-month, and lengthen the life of your interior finish. We use industry-standard chlorinator cells with warranties and can talk you through the trade-offs on the sales visit.
Can you match a design I've saved online?
Absolutely. Bring your Pinterest board or Instagram saves and we'll design something inspired by what you like that also fits your yard, budget, and local codes. We do all design in-house, so revisions are quick and there's no third-party designer in between.
What kind of warranty do you offer?
Lifetime structural warranty on the shell, manufacturer warranties on all equipment (typically 2-3 years), and a 12-month warranty on our workmanship for tile, coping, deck, and finish. Everything is documented in your contract - no verbal promises.

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes - Certified Pool Contractor CPC1460184 and Certified Building Contractor CBC1265425. General liability, workers' comp, and bonding are all in force. We can email current certificates before we start any project.
