Krystal Blue™

The quest for the bluest looking pool water

For many years pool surface manufacturers have made custom pool surfaces intended to enhance the "BLUING EFFECT" of pool water. Typically this is accomplished by adding blue dyes into the plaster. Though very effective in "BLUING EFFECT" vs white plaster, all dyed pool surfaces are very susceptible to fading, bleach out, and dynamic shade variations over time. They also typically cost 50%+ more than standard quartz aggregate finishes.

In partnership with SCP ("Pool Corp"), we developed a unique Quartzscapes pool surface exclusively for CLIFF'S POOLS & PATIOS. Krystal Blue rivals dyed pool surfaces in "BLUING EFFECT" but is STABLE - no dyes in the mixture, so no fading or bleaching. The surface is extremely smooth and comfortable, creating a Krystal Blue looking water effect.
